Do you want to be the hero of dogs, cats, and lots of other animals?
Become a Veterinary Technician through the Vet Tech Institute!

At the Vet Tech Institute, we love our students as much as we love our animals. We are committed to helping our students succeed during school and after graduation.

We place a high value on making sure our students have plenty of hands-on access to animals during the 18-month program. We firmly believe in the old adage that seeing and doing are two different things.

Our students spend time assisting in real surgeries, managing an on-site kennel and working closely with the animals located in the kennel.

As a student at the Vet Tech Institute you can:

    • Earn your veterinary technology associate degree in only 18 months (for those attending full time).
    • Attend a veterinary technology program that is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).
    • Have on-going access to facilities that include a full kennel (housing a range of animals), diagnostic and radiological labs, and prep and surgical rooms.
    • Spend time at a large animal facility so you can practice working with large animals such as horses, cows, and sheep.
    • Benefit from the Vet Tech Institute’s student services such as financial aid, housing assistance, and career placement.

All of our programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). That allows eligible graduates to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) upon graduation.
